As part of World Teachers’ Day, the students of Zainab Memorial B.Ed. Centre, Cherkala, organized an honouring programme for senior teachers on October 6th at 3:00 p.m. in the school auditorium. The programme aimed to express gratitude and appreciation towards teachers for their lifelong dedication and service. The teachers honoured on this occasion were the Headmistress of S.V.V.H.S Miyapadavu and the Headmaster V.A.U.P.S Miyapadavu, in recognition of their sincere commitment and contributions to the field of education.
The event began with a welcome speech and presidential address by Fathimath Rilwana and Marriyamma of Zainab Memorial B.Ed. Centre,cherkala. Mariyamma introduced the purpose of the gathering, while Fathimath Rilwana highlighted the importance and significance of the day. The honouring ceremony followed, where both headmasters were felicitated by presenting shawls and given a small gifts as a token of respect.
After the ceremony, the Headmistress of S.V.V.H.S Miyapadavu spoke about the dedication of teachers, and the Headmaster of V.A.U.P.S Miyapadavu offered valuable advice and encouragement to the students and teacher trainees. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by both organisers, after which the session came to an end with a group photo session, marking a warm and memorable celebration of teachers and their noble profession.
