The Library Club of our College, Lifebrary organized a Book Review Program and Bookmark Making Competition on 15th September 2025 in connection with the celebration of Kerala Library Day, which was observed on 14th September 2025. The program was conducted in the college seminar hall and witnessed enthusiastic participation from students.
The program began with a short introduction highlighting the significance of Kerala Library Day by Jibin Mathew, the club member. Following this, the Book Review Program was held where one of the student, Aparna Patten presented the review of a book spanning literature, history, and contemporary writings.
Simultaneously, the Bookmark Making Competition was conducted with the theme, “Read,Remember,Rebuild”,in which students showcased their creativity through artistic and thought-provoking designs. Many bookmarks carried powerful quotes on books and reading, reflecting the spirit of the day.
The judges evaluated the entries based on creativity, originality, and relevance to the theme. Books of different genres were awarded to bookmark maker winners from the assembly.
