The Kerala Piravi Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Zainab Memorial B.Ed Centre on November 1, 2025. The celebration also marked the official inauguration of the week-long Kerala Piravi observance, “അ (Amma, Aksharam, Adhyapakar)”, jointly organized by the Lifebrary Club and IQAC.
The inaugural ceremony began with a soulful prayer song by the college prayer team. Ms. Navya A, Library Club Secretary , delivered the welcome address. The presidential address was given by Dr. Smitha E. T, Principal in charge and Assistant Professor of Natural Science, who spoke about the cultural and linguistic pride of Kerala.
The programme was officially inaugurated by Mr. Adarsh Chandran, teacher, Kerala Samskarika Vakupp Vajrajubilee Fellowship winner, and an alumnus of the college. His inaugural address, filled with wit and insight, inspired and entertained the audience alike.
Following the inauguration, an oath on “Mathrubhasha” was led by Dr. Smitha E. T, with all participants joining in unison to reaffirm their respect for Malayalam.
Felicitation speeches were offered by Mr. Ganesan P. V., Assistant Professor of General Education, and Mr. Ameen Hussain, College Union Chairman (2025–26). The vote of thanks was proposed by Ms. Aparna Patten, Library Club President.
