COUNTING THE UNCOUNTABLE

On October 23, 2025, International Mole Day was celebrated at Zainab Memorial B.Ed Centre, Cherkala, under the initiative of the Ecoverse Club and IQAC. The program was organized during the morning assembly to highlight the significance of this special day dedicated to chemistry enthusiasts worldwide.


On this occasion, Ms. Vishnumaya presented an informative talk on the concept of the mole, explaining its calculation methods and scientific importance in chemistry. She also shared interesting facts about Avogadro’s number (6.022 × 10²³), helping students understand how vast and fascinating this number is in the molecular world.


The session was both educational and engaging, creating curiosity among students and deepening their appreciation for the wonders of chemistry. The program concluded with the message that Mole Day serves as a reminder of the vital role chemistry plays in our daily lives.
